Blue Haven Studios is a Knoxville wedding videographer and cinematographer team making wedding films throughout Knoxville, Maryville, the Tri-Cities, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains. We come from a narrative film background and we bring the same discipline to a wedding day that we'd bring to a short film — planned coverage, patient camerawork, honest editing, and sound that actually sounds good.
The thing about East Tennessee weddings is that the setting does a lot of the work. The Smokies, the river valleys, the quiet mountain chapels — they have a built-in romance that most cinematographers just point a camera at and hope for the best. We treat the landscape as a co-star. We plan shots around how the Smokies look at golden hour, how the fog rolls through Cades Cove, how late afternoon light cuts across a farm venue. That planning is the difference between a film that looks like "someone videoed a wedding" and a film that feels like a real piece of cinema.
How our Knoxville wedding films are built
Every wedding starts with a real conversation about what moments matter most to you — not a checklist, a conversation. On the day itself, we run clean multi-camera coverage of the ceremony, capture clean audio of your vows with lav mics on both partners and the officiant, get wireless audio of every toast, and fill the day with quiet, observational b-roll that becomes the connective tissue of the final edit.
In post, everything is color graded for a consistent cinematic look, cut to licensed music (we have access to a proper music library so your film won't get muted on YouTube or Instagram), and delivered as a highlight film — and optionally a feature film — you can share the day you receive it.
